Quote:
2 x 10 Push-Ups / 2 x 10 Jump Squats / 2 x 10 Pull-ups / 2 x 10 Sit-UpsProgress with this routine until you can do 4 sets of 20 reps of each exercise [...] Once you can complete the above workout, and you feel you’re ready to move onto some Parkour, it’s time to focus on the two most important movements.
This is BAD advice. It was hard to believe that people should/could not start until they could do 80 or even 20 pull-ups. I understand the idea of traditional exercise but these guys have the wrong idea about Parkour if it takes this many reps to start training. I have always felt people can start Parkour at any fitness level. Plus you should! Parkour is something that is easy and people love to do it. If your stuck doing pull ups and jump squats until finally get the chance to try, then your going to get ride of your non-traditional base. That is the appeal of Parkour, you get to "jump" right in, whether your BAD at fitness or not. Just find a good community and start training low and slow!
Continue on to read how they start people out doing the techniques they share. Plus they totally have a VERB FOUL, just check out the title of the guide.
